Alto Saxophone Neck Strap

As a College level alto saxophone player, I frequently get asked about which neck strap I've been using on my KB Sax Lessons YouTube channel.

Since I'm a tall person, I've decided to use this inexpensive Neotech Neck strap which is one of the best saxophone neck straps, especially for my long neck. I've never had to deal with neck pain from the weight of the saxophone over time, so it really is the best choice for tall saxophone players.

At an affordable price of roughly $20, this has the best value and fits the budget of any sax player.

I chose this alto saxophone neck strap with the following factors in mind:

#1 Height Adjustment

I found that this neckstrap allows me to raise my saxophone higher than most other neckstraps, so I'd say this would be a good option if you're a really tall person.

The adjustable length provides extra range for even the tallest horn players.

#2 Flexibility and Comfortable strap while playing my horn

This neck strap provides springiness for flexibility and comfort. So, when I'm playing a challenging piece and I'm getting fatigued, it works with the ebb and flow along with the movement and motion I make while I play the saxophone.

Since I am an experienced player and this is not my first neck strap, I speak to the fact that I wish I had this neckstrap earlier.

#3 Label-free

The third reason I like this neckstrap is because it doesn't have any obnoxious labels on it. I like to buy things that typically don't make me look like a walking advertisement. This neckstrap does have a label, however, you can barely see it etched on the side of the neckstrap. So that's why I prefer it, you can barely see the label, rather than having an obnoxious label that you're walking around with all day.

#4 Lowest Price

This neckstrap is available at just $19.99, a great value! It continues to be one of the best offers over the years!

One last thing!

Take a pair of pliers and tighten up the metal hook at the end of the neckstrap so that it holds your horn more safely. The hook at the end can be bent so that your horn won't come off of the hook as easily.

If you're interested in this neckstrap you can find it with the links in the description. If you'd like me to explain any of my other supplies, please let me know so I can make another demo video.

Keep in mind, you must buy a different neck strap for Tenor Saxophone because they come in different sizes.

Here is a good example of this Neotech strap in a video I created.
