Hey, welcome to KB Sax Lessons!

If you're interested in getting a new mouthpiece, this video is for you!

Vandoren V16 Mouthpiece for Alto Saxophone

For all my videos at KB Sax Lessons, I've been using the V16 Mouthpiece, it's available in the link description below.

I've had this mouthpiece for 5 years plus and it's by far my favorite mouthpiece.

This mouthpiece allows me to be versatile because I can play both classical and jazz songs.

Vandoren V16 Reeds for Alto Saxophone

I also recommend if you're thinking about a new setup to try V16 3 reeds. They're also available in the link description below and I've been using these reeds for just about every video at KB Sax Lessons.

Last but not least is the ligature that I use, this ligature makes it nice and easy for me to slip on a reed and start playing right away. This also has a little metal plate at the bottom of it for extra resonance, I think I've noticed a little bit of a difference trying them out, that's why I keep this ligature with me at all times.

Rovner Versa Ligature for Alto Saxophone

So, I highly recommend getting a good mouthpiece, ligature, and reed if you're serious about the saxophone and serious about upgrading your mouthpiece. If you play on a you know... a regular mouthpiece... that you were just handed down I think that's fine, but you really want to put your best foot forward with your saxophone so that you can go to the next level.
